Spark and Dissolve
I wanted to call this work “For fuck sake, man, I mean Jesus, can’t we just connect for twenty minutes?” But my mum’s catholic and it just didn’t work for her. She likes Spark and Dissolve.
Spark -
anything that activates or stimulates; inspiration or catalyst.
Dissolve -
to disintegrate, break up, or disperse.
Something’s happened.
I want to tell you more.
It’s nothing for you to worry about.
It’s over now and I’m ok.
I’m going to let you into a little secret but in order for this to continue I need you to sign a contract.
Sarah-Jane graduated in Contemporary Theatre Practice from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in June 2006. In 2007 she was an Elevator Artist at the National Review of Live Art; A Platform Artist at Queen Mary’s East End Collaborations and became a member of the Spitting Women Collective, which started in the belief that an artist should not just create but participate and grew out of one of the New Territories’ Winter Schools.
