To Zero British Premiere
I try to stop things as much as possible. I cannot do that, so I look for something like 'the barest minimum', a zero point. There is a kind of truth in a presentation like that: you show things as they are.
Everyone asks oneself from time to time what lies north of the North Pole, or how it is possible that your desk or the bedrooms of your children always seem to evolve from very tidy to extremely chaotic, and never the other way round. This performance attempts to answer these kinds of questions. Slowly to Zero is about large and small, time and space, mathematics and loneliness. Even more, we expect that this not easily accessible, hardly audience-friendly experiment will be an invitation to you to dwell on seemingly commonly held views and to arrive at a different understanding of what it means to be a human being.
