This new work is a continuation of ANON in the Arches, shown as part of the NRLA platform at new territories 2003.
How can we experience life differently if what we experience is intrinsically the same?
Rosie is excited by what happens when we begin to question perception. The way in which we experience the reality of life is unique to each individual. She also explores how spiritually and emotionally the human psyche is conditioned and how this affects our perception.
Our past often conditions how we experience reality.
A presence inhabits and interacts with the architecture of the Arches throughout the NRLA, as a site-specific installation is created from an amalgamation of film, light, sound and shadow to create a language that superimposes an illusion of existing reality.
Engulfed in the environment, the audience observes the space which isconstantly changing. They feel a tangible, live presence, yet in fact, there is only a pre-recorded digital image and sound.
Your reality is purely your perception.
