Documenting Live and other adventures in publishing….

Over the last few years the Live Art Development Agency has developed its publishing and distribution activities: working in partnership with major publishers on key titles; co-publishing artists’ books; publishing its own and other’s on-demand books and DVDs; and distributing books, DVDs and other materials through Unbound, an online shop. For NRLA 2009 the Agency will display a selection of recent projects that have a NRLA connection, including Documenting Live (a publication/DVD on Live Art and cultural identity), Out of Now, the Lifeworks of Tehching Hsieh (a collaboration with MIT Press), Aaron Williamson: Performance, Video, Collaboration (a co-publication with KIOSK), Oreet Ashery’s new book Dancing With Men, and DVDs on-demand by Richard Dedomenici and others.
