That man and his companion.
Wide and twisted horizons.
A journey of beginnings to nowhere.
The portrait of two that are one and the same, only one.

This trip Im making for you.
The dream which nourishes this journey is truthful.

Atlas is exquisitely danced by Pep Ramis and Jordi Casanovas;
directed by Pep Ramis and Mara Muoz, co-directors of Mal Pelo.

Pep and Maras artistic collaboration has already produced over 25
productions and it is one of the distinctive features of the group. They
are also responsible for the design of the scenery. This core team has
always been supported by some very fine collaborations with artists
from across all disciplines, including, as here, both video and
sound artists.

Bach

In Bach we see an exploratory dialogue expressed through the dancers
body and the music of Bach. This piece is, in fact, the start of a much
longer work: an introduction to the Well-Tempered Clavier by J.S. Bach,
in which Mara Muoz combines the dance to some preludes, which
are played live, with the memory of some fugues danced in silence.
Its a work of pure movement that allows us to watch an
exceptional performer engaging, totally, with her art.

Without a doubt one of the most charismatic dancers in Spain.
El Pas.

Unlike in painting, we see how the dance choreography is created in the here and now together with the time that is experienced with the music of Bach.  What comes out of it is that Muoz dances with a freedom (and rigour) that is simply thrilling.
El Punt.
