A multi-channel performance to camera with live presentation.
Promenading between fragments, the work is performed and re-performed by the viewer building on the intensity of a performed moment to encounter/construct a possible absent totality.
Working with the story form of a serial, each element is framed within a potential narrative, which explores the play of performance, desire and impulse in the oral-aural-oral pleasure of intimate telling.
Working across performance, video and sculpture, Luke Collins recent work and research has explored story forms and the processes of telling. Recent exhibitions have included The Garden, group show in Manchester, Magazine 05, group show at the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop, This Is Where, a new performance work for Guestbook, Berlin and Seek ye ur Questing Beast, a collaboration with Stephen Murray at Intermedia, Glasgow.
