Submerged + Falling Woman
What happens when those choices we have built our lives on disappear?
What if we wake up one morning and no longer recognise our life?
What if we are unable to recognise ourselves in the person we have, through necessity and experience, become?
Lucille performs two short pieces that take dislocation, hope and disappointment as starting points in an exploration of what might remain when all that is familiar disappears.
The work was created with the support of an Artsadmin Digital Media Bursary for Disabled Artists. Lucille studied visual art/performance in Sheffield and dance at the Laban Centre, London; she is currently studying M.A Fine Art at Central St. Martins College of Art, London.
