Rain

An ongoing project made in collaboration with costume designer Nadia Malik and sound artist Dan Gardner. Together they have created a hanging sculptural dress that dissolves when wet. Water slowly drips from above - the installation lasts until the dress dissolves. Video is projected onto the dress as it disintegrates and as a result the video screen is constantly changing, creating a beautiful, yet haunting image. A ten-minute choreographed solo interaction with the sculpture will be performed at the beginning of the installation.

Kerryn creates highly visual and challenging movement based work that crosses over into live art. Her practise explores the relationship between the live and mediated body through choreography and video projection. She explores beauty through the layering of images, often creating situations and costumes that restrict the body in some way. Kerryn is a Forward Thinking Fellow at the Bonington Gallery in Nottingham and has recently performed in Australia and India.

Supported by Arts Council England.
