Number One

I once sailed across the Atlantic Ocean. I once saved a man in war.
I once spent a year in silence. I once enjoyed a drink on my own in a bar. I once was the one who jumped the highest. I once made friends in every country. I had stamina. It was all very difficult.
Whats left is easy.

I had been on the Atlantic Ocean for 7 days. There were no waves and I was all alone. I wanted to go that way but not that way but the wind went that way. I made some coffee, tripped over and broke a leg. And I realised that there was nothing to fight for, nothing to die for. So I made it all up. I made the perfect journey I would never have to do. I got knowledge and experience and all the fake scratch marks I could wish for.

Number One is a solo performance investigating where to stand comfortably and when to move away quickly.

Number One is aiming to look closer at what it is to stand by oneself.
Joyous solitude versus lonely isolation.
