There are moments of drama.
There are movements, which look like dance.
There are objects of flippancy, irreverence, intimacy, difficulty and the insubstantial.
There are things that might make you laugh.
And there is a bit where I try to make a rainbow.

Based in Glasgow for the past four years, Surman teaches on the BA(Contemporary Theatre Practice) housed at the RSAMD and is Associate Curator of Performance at the CCA. Surman has worked with numerous performance/dance practitioners and collaborates on a regular basis with Manchester-based multi-media group, Municiple Constructions.
