Illustrated lecture + My Heart is Broken
Franko B has been creating work across art forms and for exhibitions since 1990. Projects have involved video, photography, performance, painting, installation, sculpture, construction and mixed media. His work is in demand all over the world and he was last seen at the NRLA in 2000 with Aktion 398.
A separate video installation of a new silent video piece entitled My Heart is Broken will be installed in the basement with cushions and floor seating, with the video projected onto ceiling. It portrays a silent video diary, reflecting what the artist has been exposed to in his daily experiences over a period of two years. It is a record of life, sex, love and war, attempting to document the things that touch you, and break your heart.
