A programme of short video works by Tim Etchells, artistic director of Forced Entertainment including collaborations with the company's long-term photographer Hugo Glendinning and composer John Avery. From the hilarious anti-Hollywood of Starfucker to the poignant confessional of Downtime Tim Etchells' video works explore the connections between image, language and imagination asking the viewer to re-think their relationship to unfolding of narratives on screen. Refreshingly simple and revealing in equal amounts the works bring the aesthetic of Forced Entertainment's live work into a new arena and exploit the capacity of video to both capture and create unrepeatable and enigmatic events.
