Box began as an exploration of space. We were curious as what would be the minimum amount of space needed for one of us to perform in. This eventually led us to asking ourselves if it were possible to survive in such a space.
The audience is given the opportunity to influence, interact with and openly question Box. ECP is a creative partnership between Ian Abbott and Tracey McGarrigan whose aim is to blur the boundary between white cube and black box performance spaces as they invite public witness and interaction in the new realities they create in which to tell their stories.
