CLEO JAY
Funambulist
Inspired by the eerie and dreamy atmosphere of the films of Fellini and Derek Jarman, this performance piece explores the depths of the unconscious as well as mental illnesses like manic depression and borderline troubles. It refers to childhood, self-destruction, love, death, and belief. It is conceived as a real experience for the audience, giving them the opportunity to question their own balance between sanity and madness, as they investigate the space around them and witness its transformation. Created by Cleo Jay, with help from Aubanel Lintzer.
