Black Market International
Eleven participants of this renowned international artist collective come together in an unusual and ambitious NRLA residency. The artists will occupy Tramway 2 for the duration of the festival
(Wed 7 – Sun 11 Feb), and the public are free to enter and leave the space throughout each day.
Black Market International: Alastair MacLennan, Boris Nieslony, Elvira Santamaría, Helge Meyer, Jacques van Poppel, Julie Andrée T, Jürgen Fritz, Lee Wen, Myriam Laplante, Norbert Klassen, Roi Vaara, plus special guests.
A 5-day life-installation will serve as the grounds upon which the different actions of Black Market International will grow and be witnessed. Throughout NRLA various forms of cooperation within the group will be executed in the form of solos, duos, group encounters, workshops, and talks.
