Artistic
Director, choreographer and performer with the Glasgow based Kultyer Dance
Theatre; Paul also creates and produces the music for all of the company
productions. From a very early age Paul has been influenced by street
styles especially break-dancing and Hip-Hop music, a culture and way of
life for Paul over the last twenty years. With Kultyer, Paul has fulfilled
his long-term ambition of creating music and dance together, fusing urban
movement and contemporary technique.
This
NRLA commission has enabled Paul to call on all of his influences that
spring from his Dominican origin, street dance culture, his life in
Glasgow and fatherhood.
