Through the employment of various cultural reference points, from the
archaic to the contemporary, the work plays with the politics of power,
sexuality and performance. Through their accumulation, the works can be
seen as a series of investigations into a similar psychophysical realm and
perhaps serve as a reminder of how little the relationships between action
and intention or body and brain is understood.
