Lois Keidan and Daniel Brine (Live Art Development Agency) and Sophie Cameron (New Work Network) Aimed at 'emergent' artists working in time based performance practices, Somethings you wanted to know… is a brief introduction to the Live Art sector and system. Live Art is as vibrant field offering artists new artistic approaches and new creative contexts. But it is also an area without clear signposts or 'career' development paths. Somethings you wanted to know…will offer artists a basic introduction to the lie of the land, a sense of how things work and practical information about what's on offer. Somethings… is a micro version of Everything you wanted to know about Live Art but were afraid to ask, a professional development day organised by Queen Mary, University of London and the Live Art Development Agency in June 2002 to complement their annual East End Collaborations performance platform.
