"sound, light and shadows sculpt space" |

A young woman inhabits and interacts with the architecture of The Arches as sound, light and shadows sculpt space in a site-specific installation that explores the presence of space and the subtleties of human behaviour. A location within The Arches is projected back on to itself, making an illusion of reality. The audience observes the space constantly changing, feeling a tangible live presence, yet, in fact, there is only pre-recorded digital image and sound. Rosie graduated with a first class degree from the BA Hons Visual Performance (Dance), Brighton University. Anon was awarded first prize by Burt Brill and Cardens Student Award 2002.
