Based in San Francisco, Bob Ostertag is a major figure in world electronic music. He has been known for more than two decades as an improviser and composer, and has released 20 CDs. His last multi-media piece Yugoslavia Suite was hailed internationally. Montreal-based, Pierre Hébert was a film director at The National Film Board of Canada from 1965 to 1999. In addition to many experimental shorts, he directed one feature film, the acclaimed La Plante humaine, and has performed live scratched-animation improvisations around the world. Hébert and Ostertag have been working together on several projects since 1990.
