Since appearing as an NRLA Platform artist in 1990 with the acclaimed Breadmaking, Lisa Watts has presented performance works across Europe. A short documentary on her digital photographic work Muscles was broadcast by Channel 4 in 1998. Her latest touring project More Funny Feelings - two performances and a video installation was received with great acclaim and her film Bun has been shown globally. She received a Shooting Live Artists award, funded by the Arts Council of England and the BBC, for a stereoscopic video of an old Houdini act entitled Escape Mechanism. Commissioned by New Moves International Ltd. for new territories 2003 with an award from the Scottish Arts Council National Lottery Fund |
