British Premiere Your Turn to Roll It No. 54 takes place in what appears to be a boxing ring filled with mounds of white paper. It has the appearance of a lunar landscape. There are two crosses at the back of the ring. There is a chest of drawers. There are two breezeblocks and on top of each is a bottle of wine covered by an oven mitt. Onto this set step two large nosed, large chinned, large bodied men who meticulously perform a series of 'ceremonies' that have the fluidity and weight of ancient rituals yet little apparent meaning. Harry & Harry Kipper have been called 'the funniest duo to play the art scene'. |
