"a normal office situation ... but somehow the usual laws of gravity don't function" |

This performance relates to modern working attitudes, it's a kind of working class hero memorial where the working class hero is a stereotypical computer servant. In a normal office situation, he sits behind his desk working on his computer. But somehow the usual laws of gravity don't function, he does not need a chair, he is sitting on air. The desk does not need legs; it too is lying on air. It is the most reduced but functioning office unit. He is working with a special computer programme, designed for office furniture producers to create new ergonomic office items. He is working on two-dimensional computer graphic images which, at the same time, he reveals as a lively three-dimensional situation/performance. |
