Paul-André Fortier has been a trailblazer in Canadian contemporary dance for many years. Renowned for audacious, uncompromising work with big themes, he has created one of the most stunning and unexpected dance pieces of the year. Tensions is a piece that takes an unusually fresh look at human loneliness. 

Performed by Fortier himself alongside younger dancer Robert Meilleur, it is an intense and technically demanding work, combining dance with new visual and sound technologies.
