Forkbeard Fantasy is one of four companies offering research, development and a professional training programme as part of the Winter School, a major strand of new territories 2003. Working with a group of independent artists and students, the company have developed ideas for a live installation event. 

Participants have been working on video and film sequences, 3D and 2D animation, constructing sets, props and sensor operated objects, as well as devising ways of interacting with these facets in the context of the event.
