messrs message‚ is part of a bigger, ongoing project men & eels, where the objective is to investigate many shades of masculinity.  The performances have been dealing with folkloristic rituals alongside actions that include live eels and work in different media, including photography, video, performance, computer graphics, objects and installation.  messrs message’s interaction between a man and an eel, uses the eel’s lifecycle as metaphor and starting point.

e.d, is a performance under construction for the NRLA. It will be a sort of meditation on death in our popular culture. Implicit is the idea of the public’s perception of fear and what induces a sense of anxiety. I planned it before September 11^th - I am not sure how the changes in the world will change the perception of the performance.
